Own Company Honors Excellence in Customer SaaS Data Protection and Activation at Dreamforce 2024

The Own Awards winners exemplify excellence in innovation, collaboration, and social impact, with honors presented in four distinct categories: Owner of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Harmony Award, and Better Together.

Celebrating Excellence: Own Awards 2024 Winners

Owner of the Year: Jeff Sneeringer, Huntington Bank

Jeff Sneeringer from Huntington Bank was selected for his remarkable commitment to partnering with Own, consistently driving value for his organization.

Innovator of the Year: Cash App

Cash App has pushed the boundaries of Own’s products, innovating with cutting-edge functionality that has redefined customer engagement and operational efficiency for the company. Facing the daunting task of managing large volumes of data, Cash App developer Evelyn Maguire began a robust testing method, corrupting data intentionally within a sandbox environment to simulate a data loss scenario. Given the scale of their operations, traditional methods were impractical. Instead, Maguire engineered a polymorphic batch Apex class designed to corrupt specific data systematically. This class, through a sophisticated chain of queueables, allowed Cash App to mimic data corruption at scale, sending notifications as each batch completed its process. This creative use of Own’s capabilities has set a new standard for what can be achieved with the platform, offering a blueprint for other organizations to follow.

Molson Coors has demonstrated the power of synergy by integrating multiple Own products to maximize value across the organization. The results have been transformative, driving significant cost savings, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. Over the last two years, Molson Coors streamlined data recovery, improving performance and directly contributing to profits.

Better Together: CooperVision and Copado

Copado worked closely with CooperVision, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of contact lenses, to leverage the Own Data Platform to increase efficiencies on business critical operations and focus on future roadmap initiatives.
